Innovative rural housing scheme allowed at appeal

In 2024 Tandridge District Council refused permission for new a new housing scheme in a redundant farm yard in Surrey. We are pleased that the Planning Inspectorate has now overruled that decision and granted permission.

This scheme provides much needed affordable housing together with a small older person housing community. These much needed housing typologies are complimented in the new rural neighbourhood with high quality family homes and the repair and retrofit of a semi-derelict Listed Horse Engine Barn.

Significant biodiversity improvements were proposed as part of an integrated landscape scheme achieving an improvement of over 70%.
